Accomodation-still looking

For various reasons,I'm still looking for suitable accommodation. My course work is taking me much longer to complete than expected.I feel i don't have time to set up and maintain a Permaculture system in exchange for rent.I came to the conclusion that i should just pay the share of the rent.
So please ,if you are looking for some one to share accommodation with-don't hesitate to get in touch.
If you are in to Permaculture related stuff ,please get in touch I'm always happy to talk Permaculture.

Rocket stove and rocket mass heater

Having been born in the Hungarian part of what is now Serbia and Montenegro , the rocket stove idea is not a new one for me.
I had a book by David Lyle -The Book of Masonry Stoves for quite a while. In this book there are descriptions of a variety of masonry stoves and heaters from all over the world.
For quite a while i been wanting to engage in making rocket stoves.Recently i discovered a rocket stove water heater in the 2010 Permaculture Diary. Here is a link to the Milkwood blog >http://www.milkwood.net/content/view/80/1/ where a description of a rocket water heater is found
Here is another link to more rocket stove discussion http://www.permies.com/bb/index.php?board=10.0
There is also a book by Ianto Evans from The Cobb cottage Company .Here is the link http://www.rocketstoves.com/
It is available as an Ebook download -for a fee.
Interesting stuff.

Interested in a sustainable food production system?

http://www.smartgiftsolutions.co.uk/images/full/just_fruit_basket_l.jpg

I have a unique opportunity to share with you, if you are interested in sustainable food production, urban eco-villages or co-housing projects.

I’m a full time Diploma of Permaculture student (male 50+) currently living in the Kinglake area. I’m seeking accommodation, not more than 45 minutes by car from Eltham College, from September 2009 to December 2010.

I’m a practically oriented Permaculture designer and an experienced owner builder, with skills in carpentry, cabinet making, mud brick making and laying, rendering, cob oven building, green woodworking, blacksmithing, and designing and setting up low tech, low energy, sustainable human households.

As part of my rent I am willing to:

  1. design, implement and maintain a sustainable food production system with / for you.

This could be on a standard town block, small ‘rural living’ property or larger farm.

  1. I’ll work with you on your property to develop a low energy sustainable way of life.
  1. I can construct a mud oven, bake sour dough bread, preserve the produce (dry with solar dryer) make jams, preserves, save seeds, ferment (beer, vine, sauerkraut), design an organic produce garden and plant vegetables, herbs, runners, vines and fruit trees.
  1. If interested, I could tutor you in Permaculture Design Course which will qualify you for a Permaculture Design Certificate.

In the longer term, I hope to join a group of like-minded souls in the development of an urban eco- village, co-housing project or a larger scale food forest or Polyculture system

Hügel-culture

Quote:
"Hügel-culture and Hügel-Hoop-Bed
This is an experimental design that combines the design of a Hügel bed or raised bed with features to be able to easily convert them into a bed with a hoop cover over it or into a cold frame."
The above is a quote from the following page:
